Security

Locked on your phone, not on our servers.

End-to-end encrypted with Sige, our own implementation of the Signal protocol. Your keys never leave your phone. Here is exactly what we can and cannot see.

Locked before it leaves

Every message is sealed on your phone by Sige, our own implementation of the Signal protocol: X3DH key exchange plus the Double Ratchet, AES-256 throughout. By the time a message reaches our servers, it is ciphertext.

Keys live on your device

Your identity and session keys are generated on your phone and kept in its hardware-backed keychain or keystore. We publish only public keys.

Groups, sealed per member

Group messages are encrypted individually for each member's device. There is no group master key sitting on a server.

Media too

Photos, voice notes, videos and files are encrypted on your phone before upload. Even thumbnails travel inside the encrypted message.

Verify who you're talking to

Every contact has a 60-digit safety number you can compare in person. If their key ever changes, you see a warning in the chat.

Money, honestly

Payment notifications are end-to-end encrypted like any message. Moving real money needs settlement records, so amounts and parties live on our servers by design.

Your tools

In your hands.

Block

One tap and they are gone. They cannot message, call, or see you.

Report

Reporting sends only IDs and a reason. Your content never leaves your phone.

Ghost chats

Ephemeral one-to-ones over the same encryption. Gone when you both leave.

Disappearing messages

Set chats to vanish after an hour, a day, a week, or 90 days.

View-once

Opens a single time. Then the file and its keys are deleted.

App lock

Face ID, fingerprint, or a PIN. Your chats stay shut.

Screenshot notices

In ghost chats, you will know if the other person screenshots.

Registration lock

A PIN gates new-device sign-ins, so no one else can register as you.

FAQ

Honest answers.

Is everything end-to-end encrypted?+

One-to-one and group chats are, including payment notifications, media, and voice notes. Stories are public by design, so they are not encrypted. Service notices from us are not either.

Can SprinTelex read my messages?+

No. We see encrypted message bodies plus the routing data any messenger needs: who messaged whom, when, and delivery state. The contents are ciphertext we cannot open.

What happens when someone reports me?+

Moderators receive account IDs and a reason. No message content, no attachments, nothing decrypted.

I lost my phone. Are my chats safe?+

Backups are encrypted with a key derived from your PIN, and we hold only the ciphertext. Turn on registration lock and app lock for the strongest protection.
